Hello and welcome to My Virtual Shrink. We're very glad that you're here.
My Virtual Shrink isn't just another blog nor is it just another "self-help" program. We're not peddling gimmicks, catch phrases or secret steps to success. There's no secret to making changes in your life and relationships, solving problems and achieving goals.
Insight + Action = Change. Insight without action is meaningless and action without insight is chaos. That's basically all there is to it. It's that easy and that difficult.
Our interconnected guided sessions are grounded in the principles of therapeutic change processes minus the mystery and expense of traditional psychotherapies. Our sessions are designed to provide you with a safe and thoughtful structure in which to understand the forces at work in your own mind---your thoughts, feelings, beliefs, attitudes, self-imposed limitations, hopes, fears, dreams and biases---and how they've been impacting you, your relationships, your career and many other aspects of your life.
You'll explore how some of your personal perspectives, attitudes and behaviors have been causing you stress and keeping you stuck. We'll help you develop steps you can take to make the necessary personal shifts to break free of old patterns and habits that are no longer working for you. By using My Virtual Shrink, you'll think through the issues you're facing with clarity and logic, develop practical and achievable solutions as well as working through any fear or reluctance you may have about doing so.
